The Lyngdorf D-5 and D-5 IC are premium in-wall and in-ceiling loudspeakers designed for surround sound and immersive audio systems. The D series expands the range with discreet speakers that bring Lyngdorf Audio quality to home theater installations. Both models are equipped with their own pre-mounted closed MDF enclosure, ensuring defined and consistent sound performance.
Pre-mounted Enclosure & Easy Installation
All D-5 and D-5 IC models come with their own pre-mounted closed MDF enclosure, so that no after-market backbox or closed wall cavity is required. This ensures that the sound performance is always defined and consistent, depending less on the wall construction and the available space behind the wall. Practical mounting legs make the installation simple.
D-5 IC: Angled, Adjustable Tweeter Design
The D-5 IC (in-ceiling) features an angled, adjustable tweeter design. This allows the sound to be beamed downwards and inwards towards the primary listening area, making it ideal for height channels or when the speakers must be positioned outside the listening axis. The D-5 (in-wall) provides perfect coverage for side and rear surround channels.

Lightweight aluminum cones
The midrange and woofer drivers feature light, stiff aluminum cones with a single breakup point, designed to play with high efficiency and minimum distortion.
Angled adjustable tweeter
The D-5 IC (in-ceiling) model features an angled, adjustable tweeter that lets you beam the sound directly down and inwards to the listening area.
